“Liar Liar pants on fire”🔥

“Behold, you are trusting in deceptive and useless words that bring no benefit. Jeremiah 7:8

There is an old children’s saying… “Liar Liar pants on fire”.

This little adage lives on today as many have pants on fire. Here are some questions to ponder as you read this message.

Are you partnering with the lies of the enemy?

What are you watching and taking into your minds? Likewise, what are you listening to?

Are you aware of the forces of darkness / satans tricks? For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12

Yes, the world will do what the world does, because the world doesn’t know Jesus as their savior. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever. 1 John 2:17

Did you know that Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe? They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God. 2 Corinthians 4:4

What is going on?

There are many people in life-changing positions of power. They control what we see and hear. Yes, they are in every level of our world system. For many years, they have flipped the script! They only speak lies.…..

Lying is their truth, their reality. Satan has infiltrated their minds and uses their mouths to speak lies from the father of lies (satan). Yes, satan is the father of lies.

What in the world is she talking about? Well, let me tell you!  I’m talking about those individuals who have intentionally or unintentionally let the devil take control of their life. They could have done it for a variety of reasons, but most the time it’s for power, fame and greed.

This is happening now especially in Government, Media, Education and Religion. Don’t get me wrong this has been happening for decades! But in these times, there is an advancement taking place like no other time in history for OUR CHILDREN- OUR GENERATION!

Let us take a little time and check out some scriptures to help us all understand the season we are experiencing.

Exhibit A– People have partnered with satan. Therefore, the enemy controls them for his use and remains inside them to destroy from within, unless the devil is cast out of that person. The devil doesn’t care who he destroys just so long as it’s mankind.

“You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” John 8:44 NKJV

An evildoer gives heed to false lips; A liar listens eagerly to aspiteful tongue. Proverbs 17:4

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Colossians 2:8

Exhibit B-Evil can conquer you.

“Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.” Romans 12:21 NLT

Exhibit C-Self-explanatory – The thief (satan) comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I (Jesus) came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly. John 10:10

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12 KJV

Exhibit D-Sowing and reaping scriptures (you will reap destruction by sowing evil).

“Then they will be condemned for enjoying evil rather than believing the truth.” 2 Thessalonians 2:12 NLT

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Galatians 6:7-8

Exhibit E-Jesus says-

“A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart.” Luke 6:45 NLT

Exhibit F– I suggest reading all of Romans 1.

“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”Romans 1:28-32 KJV

But the [Holy] Spirit explicitly and unmistakably declares that in later times some will turn away from the faith, paying attention instead to deceitful and seductive spirits and doctrines of demons,  [misled] by the hypocrisy of liars whose consciences are seared as with a branding iron [leaving them incapable of ethical functioning] 1 Timothy 4:2 AMP

Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. 18 For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple. Romans 16:17-18

(The truth) – if you believe a lie long enough- it can/will become your reality.

Use caution in what you are taking into your minds.

“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:”“that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 KJV

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

“People may be right in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their heart. The Lord is more pleased when we do what is right and just than when we offer him sacrifices. Haughty eyes, a proud heart, and evil actions are all sin. Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty. Wealth created by a lying tongue is a vanishing mist and a deadly trap. The violence of the wicked sweeps them away, because they refuse to do what is just. The guilty walk a crooked path; the innocent travel a straight road.” Proverbs 21:2-8 NLT

I suggest reading all of Proverbs 21.

These are the times to examine your heart before God!

Repent, Read the Word of God, Seek God, and Pray in the Spirit!

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. James 1:5

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. Galatians 5:1

RECAP- SATAN WANTS YOU CHAINED, IN BONDAGE TO HIM. He wants to use you for his evil purposes. You have free-will from God to choose life or death.  You can choose your own way, your own truth, and your own life. But know this -there is only one way to eternal life and it is through Christ Jesus.

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. John 14:6

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live. Deuteronomy 30:19

Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. 2 Timothy 22-26

Abstain from all appearance of evil. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:22-24

My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity. Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:1-6

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

Half a heart

At the beginning of our time, God made us and breathed life into us.

We all started with half-a-heart without Jesus. Bear with me, and I’ll explain. We live in a fallen world that separated us from God because of our sins.  God gave us free-will to do right or wrong and he doesn’t control us.  The Lord wants us to reach out to Him. As I see it, every person is searching for their missing heart-piece, and this free-will journey can lead us to seek out all sorts of worldly endeavors to find our piece. God created us to connect with Him, but the fall of mankind in the beginning set in motion changes that separated us from our Lord. Therefore, we are continually searching for Him, not even knowing why we are so empty and alone, not even knowing we are searching for Jesus.

As we search for our heart-piece, we can find troubles in this world; heartaches, trials, and burdens. Our hearts can get hard from bitterness, hurts, and unforgiveness, among other things. We become worldly and move further away from our missing piece (Jesus). We can make bad choices with all this free-will. Then our survival nature kicks in as we keep going, keep going nowhere. We are striving and running a life trying to satisfy ourselves and fill ourselves with worldly desires and all the while seeking our missing piece. We think this will make us happy, and that will give us peace, but it doesn’t. Nothing seems to work; because we still have half-a-heart, not until the miracle occurs in our life, and faith is born. Faith to believe in Jesus. Faith to confess Jesus is Lord and know in our little (half-a-heart) that He died and rose again for US! Then our heart finds the missing piece- Jesus is that piece and our heart is now whole (half+half) = one= one in Christ. We become one forever and connected to God through the Holy Spirit that lives in us. The Holy Spirit is the other half of our heart.

God’s perfect peace and love fills us as we walk in His Spirit and it works to transform our souls (puzzle piece is in place and joined with the Lord). God’s heart is now connected and actively working in and through us for our perfect destiny. The power switch is on, and our spirit is ignited to receive direct wisdom and revelation through Christ. We have a direct connection to our savior Jesus. We no longer have half-a-heart because the Spirit of the Living God gives us everything we need to walk on this earth. It is the same way as the body of Christ-Church (the bride); we are ONE with Christ. We are in unity and love with each other because of God’s amazing grace and endless love. Half-a-heart no more. We find our home forevermore.

Face of a child

There was a young girl who was in the race

She prayed for peace and God’s saving grace

Her thoughts arose to the stars and heavenly place

As she sought His beautiful face

Her words were full of youthful joy

“I can see You in the clouds”

“I can feel You in the stars”

“I can hear Your thunderous roars”

“I am witness to Your majestic art

Your name is written in my heart

Her journey began all bright and full of light

Yet her insecurities grew in the black of night

Lies of the enemy took hold and wouldn’t let her go

The battle began for her soul

Her young heart was tossed back and forth by the waves

With no foundation to withstand the rains

Her choices and dashed dreams heaved her load

The battle was for her soul

Now her words were full of pain and sorrow

“I need to see You in the clouds”

“I need to feel You in the stars”

“I need to hear Your thunderous roars”

Please help me find my way home

Hear my prayers and tell me what’s true

Speak to me in Spirit and in Truth

You’re my everything always have and always been

But I shut you out to live in sin

Help me win

There was a woman with the full armor of God

She grew strong in her faith and knew her fate

The breastplate of righteousness now in place

The word of God in her embrace

She readied herself for the next race

Her words were full of peace and power

“I know you’ll be coming in the clouds”

“I know you’ll be stepping on the stars”

“I will see you face to face”

“You are my God and I’m your child of grace”

“I’ve been running the great race”

There was an old women who was still in the running

She prayed for the world to know Christ would be coming

She was in her last battle to help save every soul

Fighting for what the enemy stole

Longing for her future glory to become whole

For to Christ she was sold

She sang of her future joy

“I know they’ll be no more sadness”

“I know they’ll be no sin or blackness”

“I know Your glory will shine our way”

“Jesus, you give me strength for another day”

And with her last breath of fight

She soldiered up for the time that was right

CHANGE OUR DESTINY

If you could change the world, what would it be?

Believe in fairy-tales or reality

Colorful rainbows and graceful rain, what do you see?

Close your eyes and just believe

See all the beauty in perfect harmony

Unimaginable love, can you see?

Trust with your heart and let it be

God created it all for you and me

If you could change the world, what would you see?

Translucent skies with stars shining so bright

Flaming red sun and ever-changing light

Close your eyes and just believe

See all the beauty in perfect harmony

Trust with your heart in the darkness and light

Buy into love without the fight

Christ paid the ultimate price

We can live a new life

Open your eyes and just believe

No worldly fires, only lovely peace

No more ugliness, no more pain

Only love and kindness can break the chain

Christ is our reality as faith is the unseen

If you could change the world, what would you see?

The power is within you and me

To change our destiny

I BELIEVE

I Believe

I dream about Him almost every night and in my dreams He holds me tight

He tells me everything will be all right

He kisses my tears away and calms my every fear

He floods me with His love and whispers in my ear

I search for HIM every day and night, close my eyes to behold HIS wondrous sight

HE says “be still and know I’m the man of light”.

His voice resounds in my head, it will be alright

He touches my soul with HIS powerful hands

He reaches in and takes hold of me and I can breathe again

As I face another day praying for HIS healing love and clinging to his divine grace

Jesus is in my heart as I run this race

Struggling to make it through this place

His spirit evokes my eyes to see and I believe

His love has set me free and I believe

I believe

He tells me everything will be alright

He kisses my tears away and calms my every fear

He floods me with HIS love and whispers in my ear

His presence ushers in new life, and I believe

I believe, HIS love has set me free

FOUR WALLS

Four walls

Reaching out to say hello

My hand tries to take hold

Pulling it back before the tide

Cross your fingers and hope to get by

Gravitational pull getting stronger

Closer to nowhere and needing tomorrow

Come out, come out and play

Where dreams come true

Dare to dream and become a fool

These four walls will let you go

Take a chance and God will make you grow

Captive in the stream of believing

Transplanted to another life of seeing

I’ve been daring to dream and wish upon my star

Then jumped that line and made it so far

Waving to say goodbye

Dancing on that mountain so high

Can’t go back to the motionless

Now I’m running in the wild openness

River of life has changed my side

God put in my heart to fly

Come out, come out and play

Where dreams come true

Dare to dream and become a fool

These four walls will let you go

Take a chance and God will make you grow

UNBREAKABLE

Unbreakable

I’ve come to know things aren’t always what they seem

Knocking on the wrong door can change your destiny

There’s a fight for your soul and he doesn’t play fair

Put on your weapons from God because he cares

Check out Ephesians 5 for these details

This is no ring around the rosy so beware

Warfare was done with blood, sweat, and tears

For God did not give us the spirit of fear

Stand strong in your weakness and don’t despair

Christ will strengthen you for this fight

Your unbreakable, bought with a heavy price

And evil knows we are HIS light

Let nothing snatch you from HIS sight

God has a plan and in the end there’s victory

The bible foretold that in prophesy

Evil trying to take you down

Satan, we rebuke you to the ground

No weapon formed against us shall prosper in this place

You have no authority over the children of grace

Fire-branch and destiny will sound

Hold on tight to your merry-go-round

With power and authority from God above

You’re unbreakable with HIS love

To Preach or not to Preach?

I embrace who God says I am- I am an original, made in the image of God!!! I was fearfully and wonderfully created in my mother’s womb (Psalm 139). God forgives my sins and heals all my diseases, He has redeemed my life from the pit and crowns me with love and compassion (Psalm 103). I have the favor of God!! I also declare no weapon formed against me shall prosper. There is a hedge of protection around me and my family. You see, I declare these things because God made me… and I have a close relationship with the Lord. My declarations are life-giving!

I originally gave my life to the Lord (confession and faith to believe that Jesus is Lord-Romans 10:9) at 19 years old, but I had a very low self-worth and confidence. I didn’t realize my place as a child of the Living God until really reading/meditating on the Word of God. Jesus built my self-worth and confidence (and still does) through the Holy Spirit and lots of prayer. My on-call counselor is the Holy Spirit who ministers to me and lives in my heart. Jesus is always listening and answering my prayers. I just love that about Him!

Jesus paid a high price by dying on the cross to save us from our sins (Romans 3:21-26). He demonstrates His love for us. The free gift of eternal life is given through Christ to all who believe in Him. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8). Yes, this is Christianity 101. I believe we need to get back to the basic salvation message. First step, the truth will set you free if you confess your sins and believe Jesus is Lord. Second step, read the bible- Ask and pray for answers to your questions and listen to God, grow in wisdom and grace. Third step, find others who believe in Christ and are born-again spirit filled believers to help you. This is a good starting point.

Funny how God works. I was thinking over and over about a dream I had a few nights ago. I was thinking “Jesus is my air in the deep water of life”. So I had this dream I was drowning, but I was content to float at or near the bottom of the water. I started to realize I was going to drown if I didn’t fight to get to the air. So I prayed and prayed and fought, swimming hard to find air and suddenly the water parted in front of me, and I took one big breath of air. God saved me. This dream reminded me of all the people who don’t know Jesus as their savior and are drowning at the bottom. They don’t fight to get the eternal living air. The air that gives abundant life now and eternal life forever. I pray for people to know Jesus as I do. Because Jesus is the only savior of the world. “Jesus said whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will follow from within him (John 7:38).” That is pretty cool folks.

I know beyond a shadow of doubt that Jesus is real because I have experienced Him personally and profoundly! He is my love, my hope, and my future! I will see Him face to face..Revelation 21 & 22. It’s a fact.

Seven churches of Revelation

SEVEN CHURCHES (Revelation 2-3) Asia Minor (present day Turkey) on circular trade route

  • Church in EPHESUS – (eh-fuh-suhs) Loveless Church

Prominent cultural and commercial center of Asia, 60 years after Christ’s resurrection- Big church, founder Paul- work Paul began on this occasion was carried forward by Apollos and Aquila and Priscilla. Timothy was the pastor. Jesus said to repent and return to your first Love.

Lesson- Truth and love must go hand-in-hand. Must uphold the doctrinal purity, but not at the expense of brotherly love.

To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

  • Church in SMYRNA- smer-nuh) The Suffering Church

Large community of Jews hostile to Christians. The church remained faithful through persecution. Christ warns of impending imprisonment even to death. Jesus says “Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer.” Refined by fire through tribulations. This little church in the town of myrrh was being crushed because of her love for Christ.

Lesson- no admonishment – Be faithful even to the point of death and He will give you the crown of life. He who overcomes will not be hurt at all by second death.

  • Church of Pergamum- (per-ga-mum) The Compromising Church

Pergamum had a unique status, because it was the political center where rulings affected all of Asia Minor. Pergamum was also a well-known center for the arts. The people of Pergamum worshipped a myriad of Greek and Roman gods, but when Christianity arrived with the belief in just one god, the city’s pagan priests went on the attack and their most famous victim was a man named Antipas.

City of pagan practices called Satan’s throne. The church was compromising its beliefs. Church conforming to the world and allowing people in the church to practice Balaam false teachings and sexual immorality. Jesus says that they had allowed themselves to be influenced by paganism, idolatry, and false teachings. Jesus said REPENT therefore!

Lesson-Repent or risk judgement. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it.

  • Church of Thyatira –(thai-uh-tai-ruh) The Adulterous Church

Thyatira was a prosperous trading town that was an important location on the Roman road from Pergamos to Laodicea. The city hosted a major cult of the pagan god Apollo (son of Zeus). The city was known for its dyeing and indigo trade.

The church was engaging in sexual immorality and dabbling in idolatry (tolerating the woman of Jezebel). Jesus says He has given her time to repent, but unwilling. So there will be consequences of bed of suffering and strike her children. Severe punishment to the false prophets and following of false prophets.

Lesson- Part of church was holding to the truth, other part was being misled to Jezebel false teachings. To him who overcomes and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations. I will also give him the morning star.

  • Church of Sardis- (sar-dis)- The dead church

Prosperous river city with gold. Sardis was the first in its area to be converted by the preaching of the apostle John. Church spiritually dead, outward alive inward dead. Many began to claim that they were Christians and followers of God, yet according to their works, they denied God. Jesus said “wake up! Remember what you have received and heard: obey it and Repent! “Strengthen what remains before you die.

Lesson- Repent, but to the ones who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels.

  • Church of Philadelphia- The faithful Church

Wealthy trade city- Philadelphia was home to a synagogue community hostile to Christians. Philadelphia was founded later than many of the other cities of Asia Minor. Philadelphia means brotherly love. The church had little strength, but was doing well in their deeds, kept HIS word, and had not denied Jesus. The church of Philadelphia was weak in some respects, yet they had remained faithful in the face of trial. Because of this, the Lord promises them an “open door” of blessing.

Lesson- No admonishment – continue faith through tribulations.

Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.

  • Church in Laodicea –lay-o-dih-see-uh- The Lukewarm Church

The city was a prosperous commercial and industrial center- Economic prosperity caused spiritual bankruptcy. The church was complacent in their faith in time of abundance.

Jesus says “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.”

Lesson- Repent!

Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.

ACTS 2

Acts 2 – Winds of major change

There were about 120 believers constantly in prayer in the upstairs.

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

Those present for Pentecost included people from a wide variety of places and ethnic backgrounds.

Crowds emerged and were amazed, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. They heard them declaring the wonders of God in their own tongue!  Others mocked them and said, they had too much wine.

Supernatural events galore:

  • Violent wind coming from heaven
  • Tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on them
  • Holy Spirit given and spoke in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them

Peter addressed the crowd in defense and explains. Peter quotes the prophet Joel:

“And it shall come to pass afterward
That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your old men shall dream dreams,
Your young men shall see visions.
And also on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days.

“And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth:
Blood and fire and pillars of smoke.
The sun shall be turned into darkness,
And the moon into blood,
Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.
And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the Lord
Shall be saved. Joel 2:28-32

Peter specifically addressed the men of Israel saying Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited to many miracles, wonders, and signs. Peter said, “This man was handed over to you for God’s plan and set purpose and foreknowledge, with the help of wicked men, put to death on the cross. But God raised him from the death. Christ wasn’t abandoned to the grave and his body would not see decay.”

HE IS ALIVE!!

Peter and the upper room attendees are all witnesses to this fact. Jesus rose from the dead and He is alive! Christ is exalted to the right hand of God. Peter recounts the prophetic words from David about Jesus. David died and was buried and he didn’t ascend to heaven. Psalm 16: 8-11 was talking about Jesus, not David.

I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
my body also will rest secure,
because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,
nor will you let your faithful one see decay.
 You make known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

After Peter’s declarations, the people were cut to the heart. Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Yea!! 3000 people believed and were baptized, and added to their number that day.

Acts 2: 42-47

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.  All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.  Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
